Scott Torgan is a retired PricewaterhouseCoopers tax partner and

current financial consultant, who specializes in high net worth

individuals and families. Upon retirement, Scott relocated from the

Bay Area to Reno in 2021.

Scott has over two decades of non-profit board experience, most

recently as a member of Keep Tahoe Blue where he served as

treasurer for the last several years. Scott has always dedicated

time to giving back and participating in the community. His earlier

volunteer work included tutoring and mentoring at-risk youth and

young adults at a San Francisco non-profit. Upon moving to Reno

and becoming acquainted with Boosted Diplomas, he immediately

wanted to get involved.

Scott grew up in the Northeast and immediately fell in love with

Lake Tahoe upon his first visit to the mountains and equally fell in

love with Reno. Now Scott spends as much time as he can

outdoors, snowboarding, biking, hiking and a lot of pickleball.
