Laura was a School Counselor in the North Bay Area for over 25 years working with all grade levels but mainly with high school age students. She has also worked in Restorative Justice as a Peer Court Coordinator as well as a School Counselor in Davis, California. Laura is from a family of educators including her mother, sister, and her oldest son. Laura is now happily settled in Reno after moving here from Bend, Oregon

In addition to spending time with her two sons and their growing families, Laura enjoys road trips, cooking, and being outdoors with her dog and walking buddy, Rosie.
