Laura is avid outdoor enthusiast and in her spare time you may find her wandering in the mountains and forever seeking that incredible summit view. She's also a self-professed book nerd who has been voraciously absorbing all types of literature from an early age.
As a mom of three children (a daughter and twins - a boy and girl) she's passionate about reading and writing, and the fundamental importance of these skills in all subject areas and in life as a whole. Nightly reading with her kids was part of the bedtime ritual in Laura's house when her kids were growing up and now she loves helping students gain more confidence in their reading and comprehension skills as well as writing and expressing ideas.
